Nice to Meet You. How You Been? I Could Show You...Some Throwbacks.

Throwback Thursday's are my favorite because I'm nostalgic about everything. It could come from being a writer or because I swear some of the best tv shows, music, and movies came from my childhood/adolescent years.

If you know a little about me some of these may not be a surprise, but if we're just getting acquainted here's a few fun facts about me I'd love to share with you. I've got no shame in my game about what I loved growing up. All of these little tidbits helped shaped my perception of the world around me. They helped build the dreams I had and shaped my experiences. One of the biggest things you may notice is there is ALOT of WHITE everywhere. There is a reason for that and we'll disect that later. In the meantime, I'm happy to make your acquaintence. Who knows...these could have been some of your closet obsessions too.

One Tree Hill. Lived it. Loved it. Pretty much died getting to go Wilmington last fall and see where everything was filmed.

Full House. It Takes Two. So Little Time. The Olsen Twins. My fandom of them was almost borderline scary and I still own EVERYTHING their precious little hands had a stamp on.

The O.C.- another classic. Seth Cohen gave me life and Ryan Atwood possibly started me on the belief that brooding bad boys were "misunderstood."

Abrázame Muy Fuerte. My first telenovela I ever watched and was engaged with along with my abuela. This made me have a much deeper appreciation of my roots and learning how to speak spanish.

Anything from this magazine pretty much consumed the four corners of my bedroom walls. It was pretty bad.

Aladdin. My favorite then-my favorite now. On a good day you can hear me obnoxiously quote the entire movie in my own wacky voices.

Finally, The Preacher's Wife. This was the first time I was introduced to gospel, Whitey Houston, Denzel Washington, and recognized that I didn't see alot of my black culture on mainstream TV.
